At Whatsapp Cloud, we take your privacy and data security seriously. This policy explains how we handle the information you provide when using our management dashboard.
Data We Collect
Account Information: Name, email address, and billing details.
API Credentials: To provide our service, we securely store your WhatsApp Cloud API tokens, Phone IDs, and Business Account IDs.
Usage Logs: Metadata related to message delivery status (sent, delivered, read) to show you analytics.
How We Use Your Data
To facilitate the connection between your dashboard and Meta’s servers.
To provide real-time notifications via Webhooks.
To troubleshoot technical issues related to your API integration.
Data Security
Encryption: All API tokens and sensitive keys are encrypted at rest and during transit.
No Message Storage: We do not store the actual content of your messages on our permanent servers unless specifically required for a "Chat History" feature you have enabled.
Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell your data. Data is only shared with Meta (WhatsApp) to execute your messaging requests.
2. Vendor Terms & Conditions
Focus: Relationship between you (the Vendor) and the Business User.
1. Nature of Service
Whatsapp Cloud (the "Vendor") provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform to manage the WhatsApp Cloud API. The User acknowledges that the actual messaging service is provided by Meta (the "Service Provider").
2. Account Approval & Compliance
The User is responsible for obtaining approval from Meta for their WhatsApp Business Account.
The Vendor does not guarantee message delivery if Meta’s servers are down or if the User’s account is restricted.
3. API Costs & Meta Billing
The User understands that Whatsapp Cloud subscription fees are separate from Meta’s conversation-based pricing.
The User must maintain a valid payment method within their Meta Business Manager to avoid service interruption.
4. Prohibited Use (Anti-Spam)
The User agrees not to use the Vendor’s platform for sending "Cold" or "Unsolicited" messages.
The User must obtain "Opt-in" consent from customers before messaging them.
Violation of WhatsApp’s Business Policy will result in immediate termination of the Vendor's service without a refund.
5. Service Availability (Uptime)
While the Vendor strives for 99.9% uptime, we are not liable for outages caused by Meta’s API updates, maintenance, or global WhatsApp downtime.
